Choose your beast configuration
The TFV8 series offers different outputs depending on the number of internal bobbins:
- V8-Q4 Quadruple Coil (0.15 ohm): Operates between 50W and 180W (Best 90W-150W). Provides the smoothest and most balanced flavor of the range, with a "hookah-like" vapor.
- V8-T6 Sextuple Coil (0.20 ohm): Operates between 50W and 240W (Best 110W-150W). Six coils offering intense flavor and very dense, warm vapor.
- V8-T8 Octuple Coil (0.15 ohm): Operates between 50W and 260W (Best 120W-180W). The ultimate choice for cloud chasers. Eight coils delivering the maximum possible vapor.
- V8 RBA: Velocity-style rebuildable base with 0.28 ohm pre-installed. Allows you to mount your own cotton and wires (18mm deck).
Frequently Asked Questions about Smok TFV8 Coils
Can I vape these coils at 30W or 40W?
It is highly unadvisable. Having so much cotton and thick metal, low wattages won't vaporize the liquid properly. If you run them under 60W, the tank will flood and leak out of the bottom airflow vents.
The tank gets really hot, is that normal?
Yes. You are powering up to eight cores (V8-T8) at wattages exceeding 120W. It is completely normal for the atomizer's steel chassis to heat up when chain-vaping. We recommend leaving a few seconds between inhales.
