Recommended Usage Instructions
Adding deionized water reduces viscosity and evaporation temperature. These are the proportions suggested by Atmos Lab:
- For 50/50 Base: Add 10% water.
- For 70/30 Base: Add 12% water.
- For 100% VG Base: Add 15% water.
*It is essential to shake the final mixture vigorously to homogenize all compounds.

Can I use tap or mineral water?
No, never. Regular water contains minerals, chlorine, and lime that can generate toxic residues when heated, oxidize nicotine, and ruin coils. You should only use pharmaceutical-grade water certified for inhalation.
What is the purpose of adding water?
Mainly to make the liquid more fluid without adding PG. This allows using high Glycerin bases (lots of vapor) in atomizers with small wicking ports. It also slightly smoothes the mix.
