The Smok Nord Coils essentials in 10 seconds
- Ultra-Fast Swap: Forget about stuck threads. When it burns out, simply pull the metallic base out of the plastic shell and firmly push the new one in.
- Ceramic Option: Its ceramic variant doesn't carbonize as easily as cotton, making it spectacular for handling high temperatures and keeping flavor extremely pure with nicotine salts.
- A Massive Ecosystem: Smok has used this coil family across dozens of devices, making it the gold standard for interchangeable pod systems.
Compatible Devices
These coils (NORD Family) are compatible with the specific "Nord Pod" cartridges of these devices:
Smok Nord | Nord 2 | Nord Pro | Trinity Alpha | Fetch Mini | RPM40 | Priv N19 | Nord 50W | Stick N18
* WARNING: If your device includes multiple pods (e.g., RPM40 includes an RPM pod and a Nord pod), these coils ONLY fit in the plastic pod labeled "NORD". They do not fit Smok Novo.
Adapt your pod to any liquid
The huge advantage of the Nord series is its versatility. Choose your ohm rating:
- 0.6 ohm Mesh (Max 25W): For sub-ohm vaping (RDL). Generates large vapor clouds thanks to its internal mesh. Ideal for fruity and traditional freebase e-liquids.
- 0.8 ohm Mesh (Max 16W): A balanced mesh. Smoother draw, dense vapor, and an excellent profile for use with mild nicotine salts or 50/50 juices.
- 1.4 ohm Regular (Max 12W): The traditional wire coil. Perfect MTL draw, high vapor concentration for true lovers of the cigarette-like throat hit.
- 1.4 ohm Ceramic: Micro-porous ceramic core instead of cotton. Handles heat better, doesn't burn easily, and is the ultimate vessel for highly concentrated Nicotine Salts.

Frequently Asked Questions about Smok Nord Coils
My cartridge leaks after putting it in, what did I do wrong?
Make sure to push it all the way down. The coil's silicone ring must be completely embedded inside the plastic pod. Also, notice that the two flat sections of the metal base must be parallel to the straight edges of the cartridge to seal properly.
Why does the ceramic one taste burnt if I just filled it?
Ceramic is an ultra-porous but very rigid material. It takes significantly longer than cotton to absorb liquid for the first time. It is mandatory to let the pod sit upright for at least 15 to 20 minutes before taking the first puff on a brand new ceramic coil.
