What is the difference between this one and the pod with the welded coil?
The Argus Air device supports two types of cartridges: disposable ones (with the coil glued inside) and this empty "Standard" tank. The massive advantage of this empty tank is that you buy individual metal PnP coils and just swap them out from the bottom, which is far more economical in the long run.
Can I refill it without removing it from the battery?
No, the silicone plug is located on the lower half of the side wall, which sits completely hidden inside the mod's metal frame. You must pull the magnetic cartridge out, open the silicone flap, refill it, and pop it back in.
