Choose your GTL: Giant clouds or tight flavor?
To make your experience perfect, ensure you select the ohm rating that matches your style and your device’s wattage capabilities:
- 0.4 ohm Mesh (20W - 30W): Built with Kanthal mesh. Focused on Direct-to-Lung (DL) vaping. It offers fast heating, massive vapor, and very powerful flavor. Ideal for high VG e-liquids.
- 0.8 ohm Mesh (12W - 18W): The perfect middle ground. It delivers a restricted draw (RDL / airy MTL) that squeezes out flavor while conserving juice. Excellent with 50/50 liquids and tolerant of mild nicotine salts.
- 1.2 ohm Regular (7W - 13W): Designed with a classic Kanthal wire wrap for strict Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) vaping. It is the absolute queen if you want to quit smoking using Nicotine Salts while saving maximum battery life.
Frequently Asked Questions about Eleaf GTL Coils
Which GTL coil will give me the best flavor?
All three coils provide excellent flavor, but they deliver it differently. The 0.4 ohm mesh brings out the sweet and fruity notes in warm clouds, while the 1.2 ohm condenses the flavor on your palate, much like traditional tobacco smoke.
I am experiencing liquid leaks after changing the coil. What did I do wrong?
The GTL series Push-Fit system requires the coil to sit completely flat and pushed all the way down into the plastic cartridge. If you do not push it firmly until it aligns flush with the base, the O-rings will not seal properly, and liquid will escape from the bottom.
